The role of the Church in 21st century America has hit rock bottom. As a political
influence, organized religion is treated as if it is irrelevant. By contrast, the historic influence of religion in the settling
of the New World is undeniable. European mercantile motivations to explore, claim and develop the natural wealth of a rich
continent, required more than daring adventurers. The repression in the mother counties played a pivotal part for the down
trodden and oppressed to flee from the chains of persecution. Religious freedom was as important, if not paramount, for many
of the brave souls seeking a new life.
The American colonies recognized the Church as an essential part of their society. The religious sects varied in
individual settlements and even were the basis of formation of new state jurisdictions. Civil laws and social customs were
extensions of religious beliefs and influenced by church doctrines. These are historical facts and undisputed by those alive
at the formation of our new nation.
What made the relationship between the Church and State so interconnected stemmed from a core worldview that was
commonly accepted. Denominations would vary and even clash, but magistrates would temper the interests of the King with that
of the cleric. If the enlightenment is the intellectual foundation for a temporal formation of the “rights of man”,
then religion and especially faith in the canons of individual self-worth and all authority comes from our Creator, is central
for any STATE to claim moral legitimacy.
Thomas Jefferson’s 1802 letter to the Danbury Baptists is credited with the claim that the First Amendment
to the United States Constitution creates a "wall of separation" between church and state. The evolution of secular rule and judicial interpretation has distorted separation to mean
"freedom FROM religion". Read the Dueling Twins series, “When a government is attributed a special power to choose, select or deny approval for worship; your result
is not a "wall of separation", but a rule over all religious beliefs, under an illegitimate state authority.”
When the Christian bible
(Matthew 23:13) refers to “Scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites”, the message hits directly at the contradiction
between civil administration of the STATE, and the “Golden Rule” teaching. Pharisees and government courts are
danger zones to freedom and justice.
Luke 12:57-59: "Yes, and why, even of yourselves, do you not judge what is right? When you go with your adversary to the magistrate,
make every effort along the way to settle with him, lest he drag you to the judge, the judge deliver you to the officer, and
the officer throw you into prison. I tell you, you shall not depart from there till you have paid the very last mite."
This systemic devotion
to the rule on law, for, by and under lawyers is not new, nor is it reserved solely within the America Saga. “TC”
compliance is much different from religious devotion. Faith in the message of the gospel is the glue that justifies the purpose
of the Church. Totalitarian Collectivism is the courthouse of the State that functions as a Roman Curia
under a dictatorship of deranged Nero. All we get is the revulsion of watching the society burn.
The Church today has lost the resolve of its purpose.
Just look what happened from the great Church deception for tax-exempt inclusion in the tax code back in 1954. “For
a 501c3 church to openly speak out, or organize in opposition to, anything that the government declares "legal," even if it is
immoral, that church will jeopardize its tax exempt status. The 501c3 has had a "chilling effect" upon the free
speech rights of the church.”
So
much for the First Amendment to the Constitution, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion,
nor prohibiting the free exercise thereof." The separation wall that statists want you to accept has become a backdrop
for the firing squad whose mission is to execute the spiritual obedience of the American congregation.
Just as the laws of the land are
often viewed as an evolutionary process or a living document, Churches are eager to modernize their tenets and alter accepted
creeds of their followers. Liberation social justice is more akin to assimilation into State bureaucratic programs than prophetic
epiphanies from on high. Even setting aside doctrinal schisms, churches frequently act as if they are adjuncts of the Totalitarian
Collectivism regime.
What
is undisputable is that religious belief, no matter the faith, is quite different from institutional Churches. When the State
circumscribes Churches under its primacy, the flock of faithful becomes a herd of devil worshipers. You need not be religious
to recognize that when the State demands a purity test to practice assemblage gathering, that the true intent is not to keep
religion separate, but to make it subservient. “TC” supplants religious scriptures with the doctrine of a Global Gulag.
“Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s”,
is taught to mean that the State has a free hand to rule over subjects. However, according to Dr. Del Tackett from Focus on the Family's The Truth Project says: “For those who misuse this and declare that Jesus is saying that
we are to give to the State whatever it requires, goes beyond the clear teaching in the rest of the Scripture.” The
point is not to condense the entire relationship of taxation and submission to State authority into an either or dilemma,
winner takes all. Simply put, the sanctimoniousness statists of “TC” establishment have changed little from the
Pharisees of Christ’s day.
The thesis is that The American "TC" Saga is a nation trapped by a corrupt system that causes a continual
downward descent into greater degrees of tyranny.
The Church has the role of being a steward for teaching moral and ethical conduct. When churches abrogate their responsibilities
and conform to the precepts of government policy, what is left of the purpose of the religious institution? The decay that
exists all around us has a direct relationship to the lack of spiritual guidance among the population. However, even more
important is that this absence of morality in civic circles accelerates the disintegration of just government.
Totalitarian Collectivism is contrary
to the message of all the major religions. Ministers, Priests and Clergy Mendacity elaborates on the following: “The churches have failed miserably to challenge the worldly order - evil incarnate.
Their craving for comfort, cooperation, compliance and concessions, will never achieve communion with Christ. The mendacity
of ordained preachers reflects their disregard to the exact meaning in the Commandments.” That said, the lack of
sincerity by the Church is not a condemnation for their elimination, but a cry for a spiritual resurrection. Challenging an
evil government is consistent with Christian teaching, even if lacking in most churches.
Social philosophers such as Ayn Rand postulate moral principles
of Objectivism. The first question is: Does man need values at all—and why? Her answer is a laudable attempt to formulate an ethical
system not dependent on the existence of God. The State within a “TC” world must destroy God to become god. While
Rand often shares gems of wisdom, Totalitarian Collectivism demands flexible moral conduct to achieve rigid social
compliance. Fyodor Dostoyevsky observed, “When God is dead anything is possible.” The “TC” State has certainly proved this statement
terribly accurate. Yet, C.S. Lewis had the correct insight of the American Saga, “The hardness of God is kinder than the softness of men, and His compulsion
is our liberation."
Liberation
from tyrannical rule is the definitive social justice. However, liberation theology is a debased assimilation into the “TC”
hierarchy in order to free the individual from personal responsibility, while courting the favors of a benign master. The
Church no longer has standing armies nor does it wage war for the glory of God, but the churches in America are collateral
damage from the battle they choose to abandon.
In order to reverse Totalitarian Collectivism, America
needs to recognize the extent of the evil authoritarianism that rules this country. Churches need to study their own traditional
heritage, re-examine their doctrines and make their own confessions for sins they commit out of their unholy alliance with
the State. Individual forgiveness is universal, through the grace of salvation. When will the churches start preaching the
true gospel and oppose the rules of the “TC” State?
